Blue River Baptist Church exists to help people in Edinburgh, our tri-county area, and the world know, follow, share and glorify Jesus Christ.

WE PROCLAIM THE WORD OF GOD
We believe that the only power to bring people to faith and transform lives is the word of god. Our opinions and thoughts aren’t divine, but god’s word is divinely inspired and absolute truth.
WE TAKE THE LOVE AND GOSPEL MESSAGE OF JESUS TO OUR COMMUNITY
We believe that God has commissioned us to share our faith and display His love to our community. We do this through our lives and intentional outreach ministry.

When people come to Christ, we know that their growth matters. We desire to help them continually grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ through discipleship.
We love and care for the members of our church family
God has placed us in community together and it’s called the church. We are a family and desire to love and care for one another relationally and meeting needs.
WE love kids and want to equip families to follow jesus together
We desire our church to always be a multigenerational congregation. We love families and kids and desire to raise up the next generation of Christ followers in our own homes.
WE EXTEND GRACE AND HOSPITALITY TO OUR GUESTS
Our church has a heart to welcome all who come through our doors. We want them to experience a church that cares for them and is glad they’ve come.
WE SEND THE GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS
We desire to love the world as god loves it. He loved it so much that He sent his Son to save all who believe. As a church, we want to send the message of the Son of God, Jesus, to the world so that they can believe in Him and spend eternity in heaven with us. We do this through missions giving, praying and going.
